It seems that the sentiment that Sarah Palin needs to be more available to the media is being echoed by members of the Republican party. Romney has apparently joined in, and (supposedly) McCain also disapproves (though one has to wonder, he's gone against campaign advice before, why not now?).
Palin should be released into the wild. The American people have a right to know who exactly they are putting in the white house, a mere heartbeat from the presidency should the 72 year old nominee make it into the oval office and die during his term. It is certainly a legitimate concern given McCain's health history and how the presidency can age someone.
Give Palin free reign, let her prove herself to the American public. If she truly is a pitbull, a barracuda, or any other fierce animal for that matter she should do fine. Time to sink or swim.
